Wild Turkey Master's Keep "Beacon" is the monumental tenth and final release in the celebrated Master's Keep series. Launched in 2015 by Master Distiller Eddie Russell, this decade-long program has brought the distillery's deepest and most aged rickhouse inventories to the global market. Beacon serves as the structural conclusion to one of the most consequential limited-release programs in modern American whiskey, specifically celebrating the generational transition between the second and third generations of Russell family distillers.

The Technical Distinction

Beacon is defined by its unique composition, blending two distinct production eras and bearing the historic dual signatures of Eddie and Bruce Russell.

  • The 16-Year Pillar: Distilled pre-2009 at the original Wild Turkey facility by Eddie Russell, contributing deep aged-oak complexity.
  • The 10-Year Pillar: Distilled in 2015 at the new facility by Bruce Russell under Jimmy Russell’s supervision, providing bright primary fruit character.
  • Series Maximum Strength: Bottled at 118 proof (59% ABV), the highest proof ever featured in the Master's Keep series.
  • Camp Nelson Maturation: Both components were aged in select rickhouses at Wild Turkey’s famous Camp Nelson satellite facility.
Sensory Profile

Nose: Dark fruit and cherry followed by honey, vanilla, and cola. Developing layers of seasoned humidor, toffee, aged oak, and barrel-aged orange creamsicle emerge with time.

Palate: Full-bodied with substantial textural concentration. A front of caramelized sugar and toffee transitions into mid-palate notes of tea, warm baking spice, and integrated oak.

Finish: Long and warming. A signature closing of lingering aged oak, soft leather, and complex barrel-derived notes.

Collector Positioning

Beacon is structurally significant as the final target for collectors completing the full 2015–2025 Master's Keep vertical. Its unique dual-Russell signature distinguishes it as a one-of-a-kind trophy within the series' history.
