The Macallan Distil Your World Paris is the fifth release in the Distil Your World series from The Macallan and the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca — a single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery’s Speyside estate, bottled at 47.2% ABV and matured in sherry-seasoned American oak, sherry-seasoned European oak, ex-Bourbon, and Cognac casks. It launched February 26, 2026 through The Macallan Society, with select U.S. retail following from April 2026.

At 47.2% ABV it holds together neat; a few drops of water open the pastry and stone-fruit notes without washing out the oak. Serve at room temperature in a tulip-shaped glass and give it a few minutes of air before the first pass.

Production Methodology

The Macallan Distillers Ltd, owned by Edrington, has produced single malt on its 485-acre Speyside estate since 1824. For Distil Your World Paris, Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell led the recipe with sherry-seasoned American oak casks, layered in sherry-seasoned European oak for depth and soft spice, drew tropical and toasted notes from ex-Bourbon casks, and added Cognac casks for the French accent the edition is built around. The whisky is bottled at 47.2% ABV and presented at its natural colour, named “Parisian Sunrise.”
