Eddie Russell married mature Kentucky straight bourbon with straight rye — coverage at launch placed the bourbon at thirteen years and the ryes at eight and nine — then moved the blend into rye casks that had only just been emptied, so the wood was still wet with rye character. The finishing period, reported at roughly six weeks, ran inside Rickhouse B, a timber warehouse predating Prohibition that Jimmy Russell has long favored. The finished whiskey bottled at 105 proof in 2022.
