Production Methodology

The base bourbon aged ten years in American oak carrying the deep No. 4 char. Eddie Russell then transferred it to casks sourced from Appleton Estate in Jamaica, freshly emptied of rum that had itself matured fourteen years in them, and rested the bourbon through a finishing period reported at five weeks or more. Dr. Joy Spence, Appleton's master blender, collaborated on the cask selection and profile. Bottling came at 106 proof in July 2023. Grains: corn, rye, malted barley; proportions 75% corn, 13% rye, 12% malted barley.
