For its 2022 twice-barreled special release, Jack Daniel's used a 100% malted-barley mash for the first time. The spirit is charcoal-mellowed, aged about four years in new charred American white oak, then finished for around two years in Oloroso sherry casks from the Antonio Paez Lobato Cooperage, and bottled at cask strength.
